CO2 emissions to hit new high in 2018

Great news for people and plants. Not so for the Paris Climate Hoax. Below is what Faith Berol, head of the UN’s International Energy Agency (IEA), had to say at an October 17, 2018 meeting at the Polish embassy ahead of the December COP-24 conference. The abandonment of coal by US utilities will not change the continuing reality of increasing fossil fuel use and CO2 emissions around the world.

Is Communist China-funding US enviro groups to destroy the coal industry?

Congress is investigating payments by China to US environmental groups for the purpose of sabotaging America from within. Today’s Associated Press story is primarily about national defense. But Congress is also investigating payments to these groups on energy and environment issues. We won’t be surprised to learn that Communist China is funding these groups to wreak havoc on America’s power grid by trying to destroy the coal industry.

NIPSCO to abandon coal by 2028

NIPSCO joins the Electric Utility Hall Of Shame with this announcement. Replace coal with unreliable and expensive wind/solar backed up by nonexistent battery technology? Give us a break. There is no business nor environmental reason to take this action and the risk to customers and shareholders is real. High prices for sure and perhaps scarcity, too. Not to mention loss of manufacturing load to China led Asia where coal continues to rule with new plants on the way. From the NIPSCO media release:

China building new coal plants equal to entire US capacity

Anti-coal activists report that China is currently building coal plants with a capacity of 259 GW — the capacity of the entire current US coal fleet. If built, China’s coal burning capacity will be almost 4 times that of the US — with no end in sight to China’s growing coal capacity. The report’s main findings are below.
